Blue Telescope, the interactive exhibit agency, has been honored with three 2015 Summit Creative Awards.
Over the past 21 years, the Summit International Awards organization has established itself as one of the premier arbiters of creative excellence. Blue Telescope was honored from a base of over 5,000 submissions from 23 countries in this year’s competition.
In the “Interactive Multimedia: Sales” category, Xerox Automated Intelligence was honored with a Gold Award. The interactive activity uses animation and gamification to help communicate the managerial challenges of balancing assets in a fun and engaging way, while introducing the practical benefits of Xerox Automated Intelligence.
Recognized with a Bronze Award in the “Interactive Multimedia: Education” category was Tessellation Maker, an interactive multi-touch tabletop activity developed with Liberty Science Center for the travelling exhibit Beyond Rubik’s Cube. Tessellation Maker lets visitors explore the geometry of patterns and tessellations by snapping shapes together to create more complex objects, launching colorful animations, and drawing parallels to tessellations found in everyday life.
The Injection Simulator, created for Ipsen, educates doctors in treatment techniques for cervical dystopia. The simulator utilizes a life-size mannequin with a soft surface in the neck to allow users the opportunity to practice precision injections. An adjacent display shows the syringe’s position in the musculature and provides information about the amount of medication virtually injected into each muscle. The Injection Simulator received a Silver Award in the category of “Interactive Multimedia: Health/Medicine”.
